Vodickova Street (Vodičkova Ulice) is a well-known street full of tourists not only during the daytime but also a busy street where traffic does not cease to stop even at night. It connects Prague's two largest squares – Charles Square and Wenceslas Square.
The street is named after Jan Vodička, a wealthy new town butcher who in the 15th century owned the most prominent house (No. 699), U Nováků palace today. Thanks to the strategic position of the road – connecting the Horse market (Wenceslas Square) and the Cattle Market (Charles Square), it was a vital business route in the past.
Nowadays, it is one of the most visited streets and offers various entertainment for all ages. It is used by cars and trams, and at the street corner is the metro station Můstek. Prague has many shops, restaurants, pubs, and places to visit. One is Lucerna Passage, which has a beautiful art nouveau cinema, a classy café, and a famous concert venue. It is one of the most popular places in the city centre. Opposite Lucerna, there is the cinema Světotor that features good films. If you walk through the passage, you'll find yourself in the Franciscan gardens, a quiet and beautiful place to relax after your strolls in the hectic city centre.

Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí or colloquially Václavák) is one of the main city squares and the centre of the business and cultural communities in the New Town of Prague, Czech Republic. Many historical events occurred there, and it is a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. It is also the place with the heaviest pedestrian traffic in the country. The square is named after Saint Wenceslas, the patron saint of Bohemia. It is part of the historical centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site.

The Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) is the oldest and most important square in historical Prague. It is surrounded by historical buildings such as the Old Town City Hall with the famous Astronomical Clock, the imposing St. Nicholas Church and Church of Our Lady before Tyn, and many houses and palaces of various architectural styles and colourful history. It has been a centre of Prague's Old Town since the Middle Ages, a marketplace crossing European merchants'' roads. The first houses were built around the Old Town Square in the 12 and 13 centuries. Some present homes still have Romanesque or Gothic foundations, basements, or ground floors. The Old Town City Hall was built in the 14 century, and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn a little later. The Old Town Square became Prague Old Town's economic and political centre.

Národní, formerly Národní třída, is one of the critical avenues in Prague, Czech Republic. It is located on the boundary between New Town and Old Town, in the southwest direction of the city's centre. This avenue connects Lthe egion Bridge bridge with Jungmannovo náměstí. In medieval times, there were fortification walls. On Friday, 17 November 1989, November 17violently suppressed a peaceful student demonstration, which is considered the initiation of the Velvet Revolution. Národní třída continued to be an eventful locale during the rest of the revolution.
