I'm back!
My name is Abdul, and I'm a tourism student at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. In this channel, I'm excited to share my experiences as a student at this university. I'll be interviewing fellow students and professors, exploring our beautiful campus, and giving you an inside look at what it's like to be part of the TRU community. In my first week at Thompson Rivers University, I had the chance to experience a really cool back-to-school BBQ. The campus was buzzing with excitement, and there were so many companies and venues showcasing what’s waiting for us here. I captured some of those moments, and I think it really sets the tone for what student life at TRU is all about.

Being a student isn’t just about earning a degree—it’s about the experiences you gain, the people you meet, and the journey of discovering who you are. This event reminded me how much more there is to explore beyond the classroom.
