I believe non-fresh trains starting from around 4pm, would utilize the crossover after leaving Bukit Panjang. This is done so as the fresh trains would be launched directly to start service for PM Peak. Plus, this is the only 11 trains in Singapore left to have grab poles placed at the door area.
