Today I play the Semi-Slav Defense, a version of the Slav defense where e6 is played quickly, blocking in the bishop early on. The Slav Defense is essentially the Caro Kann Defense but against 1.d4 (at least in my opinion) and I love the Caro Kann so I also love the Slav!
