Repairing a moth eaten wool sweater with needle felting!

Needle and wet felted barn owl sweater.

I use needle and wet felting to make the design sturdy enough to wear. The needle felting pushes the fibers in and tangles them in the sweater, and the wet felting further matts them together and felts them into the fabric of the sweater. I don’t recommend washing it in a machine if the sweater is wool as it can shrink, however, I do wash my designs in the machine on delicate/cold if it’s on a cotton/synthetic sweater!
