Here are probably my two most favorite concrete sections in the Des Moines area as of now. Tons of LOUD VA/NC and low and high pitched as well as buzzsaw like/grinding variants of VA/NC and WV/NY with high and low pitched variants as well. There’s even one bridge over IA-163 with the SUPER RARE Octave Lower Pitched TxDot which is my all time favorite bridge in the state of Iowa yet!! Some bridges and sections also had Diamond Grooving on top of them making them super smooth and clear sounding!!
I do plan on filming the other lanes of the I-80 section in a separate video as there are some different grooving in the other lanes including something rare that I’m not gonna spoil. Anyway, sit back and enjoy the video and be on the lookout for another video of this same route but in the opposite direction!! :)
