This video highlights some of the key considerations to remember when creating tactile graphics.
Planning is very important. The way that visually impaired people construct their understanding of tactile graphics is entirely opposite to the way we look at diagrams as sighted users.
Sighted users will construct their understanding of the diagram by looking at the whole diagram, and then hone in on the detail.
Visually impaired users will do the opposite: they will look at the detail and then develop an understanding of the diagram
