#1 Naxx Speedrun

Naxxramas Speedrun World Record by five sunders please set on April 9th 2024. Nearly 3 years to the day that Noobs Alliance set the previous world record time at 43:29.

five sunders please began 8 months previous to setting this record with the explicit aim to beat the Naxx WR. Many people geared completely from fresh with new characters and many leveled multiple mains to gear in GDKPs.

Insane amounts of dedication went into producing this run, and ungodly amounts of time were spent sat in Naxx late at night theory crafting tech and testing and practicing pulls. Special shout out to Gwumpyx our rogue who honestly must have spent literally hundreds of hours practicing rogue pulls. "yo my man! come i show u very fast the pull! I fixed it! it will take 2 mins then i go sleep".... then ofc 4 more hours sat in naxx until 6am.

Also a big shout out to Frelser, and Gdkat who also spent a lot of time working on tech with us and spent crazy amounts of time in naxx with theory crafting and simulating runs.

Big thank you to Tragor of course for starting the guild, making this project happen and allowing me to be a part of it. Special mention of course to Drast who did a huge amount in recruiting former speed runners and setting up the most unholy summon locations it's possible to get.

Finally some extra mentions - Ami for basically being the fsp federal reserve and funding an insane amount of flasks and gear in GDKPs for the whole guild. Colty, Znips, Wolris, Truelight for all the late night gaming, yapping and minecraft sessions. Roguish... you're just not fucking human mate.

Despite the start time of this raid I nearly overslept and missed this raid. I woke up 10 minutes before raid time... and ofc that's my excuse for some of my dog game play at a few points in this raid.

8 months of hosting GDKPs and doing 6-10 raids a week
18 alliance + 19 horde summoning teams
Level 60 characters: 4 Warriors, 2 Priests, 1 Paladin, 3 Mages, 2 Rogues, 1 Hunter, 2 Warlocks, 1 Shaman, 2 Druids.
Over 100 rend buffs bought and god knows how many Ony + ZG. Also gz Asklask.
