VF5 REVO Open Beta Final Thoughts

Before the Virtua Fighter 5 REVO open beta concludes, I wanted to take a good look at the game's graphics on PC by way of replays that play on the main menu. While recording this video, I was able to catch a replay for the only match that I played today.

Because my opponent was unable to run the game at a stable 60fps, I decided to cut my time off with the beta from there and watch the match replays for some other players which is how this upload came about.

Outstanding to see VF finally make its way natively to PC without the need to brawl your way to a virtual arcade in Yakuza, but disappointed that features which are necessary towards an enjoyable online experience are not present in a game that is about to launch in January, especially when Ultimate Showdown has been out on the PS4 for a few years now.

I do plan on playing more Virtua Fighter when REVO launches just to give myself something to play in between sessions of SC6 and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. At the end of the day, I love fighting games and Bamco doesn't seem to be interested in doing anything related to Soulcalibur or even acknowledge that the franchise exists.
