Klein Matterhorn Zermatt Switzerland 4K Glacier Paradise

Klein Matterhorn above Zermatt in Switzerland is a glacier paradise at 3883m above sea level. This fantastic place is the highest mountain station in Europe! The Klein Matterhorn is the starting point for many mountain tours such as to the Breithorn and for year-round skiing on the Theodul glacier.
The summit lift takes you up to the 360-degree viewing platform from where the view is magnificent. From this platform it is possible to see 38 four-thousand-metre peaks and 14 glaciers!
In the large glacier field between the Klein Matterhorn and the Breithorn, the Glacier Palace lies 15 metres below the surface. This ice cave is a fairytale world of glittering ice crystals, ice sculptures and centuries-old ice formations.

Note: Due to the altitude of 3883 metres above sea level, the air on the Small Matterhorn is quite thin and one should move slowly if possible.
