Here is part 2 of our switched mode power supply repair, which we mostly reversed engineered in part 1. In this episode, we start checking the somewhat complicated startup circuitry, and find our first major faulty component. Includes rant of why we will not do blind part swapping, like recapping or power supply swapping ;-)
