In this outing, my first for bass of the 2025 Season, Tom and I hit a local pond with a lot of history, Congamond Lake's South Pond, where the old Hamden and Hampshire canal (known as the Farmington Canal in Connecticut) used to pass through. We have our trout gear, but are targeting bass in EXTREMELY cold water just after ICE OFF, WEARING OUR LIFE VESTS, which is the law, and shaking off the Winter Hands. Come on along!
