Join us as we explore the misty beauty of the Plan du Lac loop trail in France’s Vanoise National Park. This scenic loop in the French Alps takes us past serene alpine lakes and dramatic landscapes, including Plan du Lac, Lac de Bellecombe, and Lac Blanc. We also passed the Refuge du Plan du Lac, a welcoming spot nestled in the rugged mountain scenery. Despite the foggy autumn day, the journey was unforgettable, with charming encounters with chunky marmots, as well as horses and cows near the parking lot.

The trail begins at a parking area in Vanoise National Park and winds through pristine landscapes, offering peaceful lake views and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for nature lovers and hikers.
