The main function of a variable frequency drive (VFD):
Fixed-frequency alternating current (typically referring to mains electricity AC380V/50-60Hz) is converted into pulsating direct current by the rectifier module, then smoothed by capacitors into relatively stable DC power, and finally, through the IGBT inverter module, transformed into three-phase AC power with adjustable frequency (the frequency adjustment range is generally determined based on the motor type and application scenario).
