Rare appearance by Robert Descharnes, the foremost expert on Dali sculpture

Robert Descharnes, a personal friend and secretary of Salvador Dali's has agreed to attend R+R BOND GALLERIES' invitation-only event on January 10th and 11th, 2008, for the purposes of educating purchasers and connoisseurs of Dali's sculpture. Descharnes, whose biography is noted below, rarely makes US trips as he is 81 years old. However, due to R+R BOND GALLERIES' status as the premier gallery featuring the museum and monumental sculptures of Salvador Dali in the world, he has acquiesced. He will be autographing copies of his book, "Le Dur et le Mou", the catalogue raisonne of Dali sculpture and advising clients on the acquisition of collector-scale, museum-scale and monumental-scale bronzes while attending this event.
