Ingredients:
2 cups of your favorite fruit (strawberries, berries, or any fruit you like), chopped
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
2-3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (to taste)
1/4 cup of water
Instructions:
1. In a small pot, combine the chopped fruit and water over medium heat. Cook until the fruit softens and begins to break down (about 5-10 minutes).
2. Mash the fruit mixture until you get a jam-like consistency.
3. Stir in the chia seeds well.
4. Remove the pot from heat and add honey or maple syrup. Mix well.
5. Let the mixture cool, then transfer it to a sealed glass jar.
6. Refrigerate for at least two hours to allow the jam to thicken and set.
You can enjoy this chia seed jam on bread, yogurt, or as a topping for desserts. Give it a try, it's delicious!
