जयपुर के चौमूं में मस्जिद के बाहर अतिक्रमण और पत्थरबाजी की घटना के बाद प्रशासन ने सख्त रुख अपनाया। ‘ऑपरेशन क्लीन’ के तहत 60 से अधिक अतिक्रमण हटाए गए और दो मकान व एक कॉम्प्लेक्स को सीज किया गया। मौके पर स्थानीय लोगों ने दावा किया कि मस्जिद अवैध है—शुरुआत में यहां केवल 4 फुट का चबूतरा था, जिसे धीरे-धीरे बढ़ाकर करीब 100 गज में मस्जिद का रूप दे दिया गया।
