Extensions of digital-analog quantum computation
Digital-analog quantum computing (DAQC) is a computational paradigm which employs an entangling analog Hamiltonian together with single-qubit gates to reach universality. DAQC shows the robustness of analog quantum computation, as well as the flexibility of digital quantum computation. In this talk, I will present two recent results. First, about a systematic protocol to work with arbitrary two-body Hamiltonians. Second, we show a proof of the stability of DAQC for simulation tasks. Both results contribute to showing the feasibility of scaling DAQC implementations to a higher number of qubits.
