Since President Trump’s first day in office, DOGE has dominated headlines by forcing its way into federal agencies, accessing sensitive and private data, and purportedly slashing grants and contracts long ago committed to states, universities, and others. Unsurprisingly, DOGE has been the subject of dozens of lawsuits challenging a variety of those actions as well as the legality of the agency itself.
