DIY High Voltage Tube Overdrive Pedal Build - Pt. 1 | Circuit Design and Layout

My goal with this build is to take inspiration from the Kingsley pedals that have gained a lot of popularity for being really great sounding tube driven overdrive pedals. Some other tube driven OD's run at lower voltage, but I want to run a 12AX7 at a proper high voltage to really maximize its tonal capabilities. In this video I explain my design philosophy and walk through the parts and layout choices I'm making.
