TRANSFORMERS Beast Wars II GOD NEPTUNE (Original) Review

Transformers Beast Wars was a hit both in the USA and in Japan. And Japan wanted more episodes than we had, so they started a new series, Beast Wars II! God Neptune was released as a repaint of 5 of the 6 Seacons to help the sinister Galvatron and his Destron (Decepticon/Predacon) forces defeat the heroic Lio Convoy and his Cybertrons (Autobots/Maximals). The Seacon Pirates are comprised of the leader, Halfshell, plus his 4 minions Scylla, Coelagon, Terrormander, and Sea Phantom. Together they form God Neptune, who towers over the Maximals and does generally mean things. These are repaints of Snaptrap, Tentakil, Skalor, Seawing, and Overbite from the original G1 Seacons. Nautilator would have been renamed Lawbhammer, but apparently was forced to walk the plank. This unopened set from 1998 is a cool combiner and Captain Kyle examines it thoroughly in this video.
