Vodka defeats Ragnaros the Firelord on heroic difficulty, making them the first guild in the US and the fifth guild in the World to complete the Firelands.

"vodka finally managed to take down heroic ragnaros tonight. I think we were more relieved than anything else to score a kill after all the hard work we put into the encounter and the entire tier. As does every guild we had to battle many obstacles between long time members leaving the game and outrageous computer/internet issues but in the end we were able to get it together and get it done. I will say this, big props to the EU guilds who managed to crush this boss before us. Without a doubt this is amongst the hardest bosses to ever be put into WoW raiding simply because of the long combat duration and varied requirements throughout phases..." Read more at the site!
