Tandoori Chicken Naan In Air Fryer
Ingredients and steps:
For Dough:
3 cups plain all purpose flour
1 tbsp instant dry yeast
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp salt
Warm water to knead the dough. Once kneaded, cover and leave it for an hour.
For Tandoori Chicken:
Take 2 chicken breast, make some cuts in them
Add 1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp tandoori masala
Pinch of orange food colour (optional)
2 tbsp oil
Half cup chopped coriander
Coat the chicken very well.
Air fry the chicken at 180ºC for 25 minutes
Flip after 25 minutes
Air fry for another 6-7 minutes
Yes it takes this long in my air fryer for the chicken
If yours burns, lower the temperature or take it out early
Always keep an eye on your food and adjust the time
Never go to sleep after putting the food in air fryer 😌
Once chicken is ready shred it and set aside.
Once the dough has doubled in soze, knead it again for a minute and take a small portion of the dough and flatten it. Spread some ghee or butter on it and stuff the chicken in the dough.
Roll it out into a naan. Spread some more ghee or butter on it. Add some garlic and coriander on the naam and press it with your hands.
Pre heat your air fryer very well. Atleast 10-15 minutes at it's highest temperature.
Air fry the naan for 6-7 minutes. It gets cooked from the bottom. You don't need to flip it.
