This is a practice session I've recorded using Garage Band. I ran guitars direct in with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and drums with the Yamaha ead10 setup. I'm using this platform to give myself a goal to achieve so that I hold myself accountable to practice my instruments and using my little studio. I'm used to being in bands where other people hold you accountable to show up to practice and perform at a decent level. Being a full time husband, dad, and employee has made it hard to be in a band. Thus I've created a space to continue my passion for playing music.
I've written all the parts to this song except for vocals. So I made this demo for myself to practice singing along with in hopes of finding inspiration to write lyrics and perform well enough to record. I do have a hard time writing lyrics...
