Some time back, @CNTRRNDM sent me a set of chords. No grand gesture, no big talk, just a quiet share between friends who understand that sometimes a few bars can say more than a conversation. I held onto them longer than I meant to. Tried them on the PO-133. No spark. The SP404MK2 didn’t take to them either.
But the Polyend Tracker… it listened.
Even then, the chords didn’t fall into place. They hovered, uneasy, like a truth no one wants to say out loud. I did what I could, smoothed the edges where they'd let me, left the rough spots where they wouldn’t. It wasn’t perfect. But it had a kind of worn honesty to it. The sort you find at the bottom of a long night.
Not polished.
But true.
