19th Edition of the National Arts Merit Awards
Like never seen before. We witnessed actual fire on the stage, as Freeman performed #Ngaibake together with Alick Macheso, TiGonzi, Ammara Brown and Vabati VaJehova, a first of its kind collaboration.
Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana gave an unforgettable rendition of Samatenga by Simon Chimbetu as a tribute to fallen art heroes.
Also a first, speed painter Takudzwa Billiat painted a portrait of Oliver Mtukudzi in a record 3 minutes, live on stage.
Jah Prayzah closed off the awards with class.
