Track taken from the album Virtuoso (1973). The collection is the 10th album from jazz guitarist Joe Pass, and widely considered his best. Featuring the Pass original “Blues for Alican” along with standards including “’Round Midnight,” the album features Pass playing solo throughout.

New vinyl reissue!
A new 2025 edition of the album has been released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with lacquers cut from the original tapes (AAA) by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and presented in Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
