I review a few backpack options to carry my standard RED package around the world. My old Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 has worn out for the 2nd or 3rd time, and unfortunately... they've been discontinued. I take a look at the Lowepro Whistler series, and the F-Shop Lotus. The bag needs to fit in the overhead bin of a CRJ-700 or ERJ-145 and so the size is limited.
I also take a look at the F-Stop Shinn I own, which is unfortunately too large to carry-on. It only gets used when it can be shipped separately, or when I have a need to hike far with lots of gear.
