Welcome to our next YouTubing " Let's talk!" Clip on the Panasonic Lumix S1RII

In our shooting experience we found the new Panasonic S1RII do be more of a pro video camera than we thought. In this extensive review we have a look at video handling, rolling shutter, stabilisation, the new folding monitor design, the different sensor readouts and formats, skintones the new A2 picture profile and we compare the dynamic range of the S1RII to the Canon C70, the Nikon Z8 and the Arri Alexa LF (with quite surprising outcome).

Panasonic has equipped its new flagship camera S1RII with a completely new 44 megapixel full frame CMOS sensor and is taking the new version of its S series camera to a new level with quite extensive video functions: Internal 10 bit 8K recording up to 30p, 4K full sensor readout in 10 bit ProRes HQ, H265 up to 50p, integrated false color function, 32 bit float audio with external XLR adapter, greatly improved folding monitor mount, new image profile and much more. Here are our first practical experiences with the new S1RII.
