Monteriggioni, which rises on a hill with its ring of walls, is one of the oldest, most extraordinary and best-known places in Italy, probably dating back to the 8th century BC. was settled. Monteriggioni, which allows the visitor to immerse themselves in the Middle Ages, was already mentioned by the eminent poet Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy: Hell, Canto XXXI.
