This is a very rare recording done as a Demo by the World Broadcasting Transcription Service in October of 1933. The tune is Ain't-cha Glad which was composed by the legendary team of Fats Waller and Andy Razaf. This version is NOT to be confused with the same title recorded by BG and JT for Columbia Records in the same time frame. However the mostly known personnel is similar for both sessions. Besides Goodman and Teagarden the band consists of Charlie Teagarden and Mannie Klein on trumpets, Art Karle on tenor sax, Dick McDonough on guitar, Art Bernstein on bass and Gene Krupa at the drums. The pianist is believed to be either Frank Froeba or Arthur Schutt. This version is the second take of the tune done that day. See another video from this same session under Jack Teagarden and Benny Goodman - I Gotta Right to Sing the Blues.
