Bonnie's Wandering Cabled Poncho

Wrap yourself in the cozy comfort of beautiful crocheted cables made of alpaca! This adventureous design will quickly become your favorite to way to stay warm when the cold weather comes along. This is a paneled poncho featuring wandering and honeycomb cables using Bonnie's unique cabling method. It is trimmed in post ribbing, complete with a large ribbed collar that can be worn up around the neck or drapped gently around the shoulders. One size fits most.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Yarn: 10 hanks of Cascade Yarn's Pure Alpaca (100% Baby Alpaca, 100 g/3.5 oz, 220 yds/200 m, #4 or light worsted weight) or 2200 yds of your favorite light worsted weight yarn. I used the #3078 Fall Foliage Heather color.

Hooks: I (or 9/5.50 mm) and H (or 8/5.00 mm)
