So this is part one of two on this redfish tournament Reid Rodgers and I are fishing.
We took the new AlWeld out in Sabine Lake fishing the Louisiana shoreline in hopes of finding red fish. Like 90% of the time i fish over here I ALWAYS catch a pile of good keeper redfish. Well.... Today they decided to move way in the marsh and it was one bite that clued me in on what to do during the second half of the day.
The main bait in this video was a popping cork and a small kietch crystal shad or white colored swimbait. The trout were eating it up! We probably caught 50 specks alone before we decided to hit our plan b sport in black bayou.
