What Wearing the Poppy for Four Years has Taught Me

NOTE: Obviously this video is rather late, for which I apologize. While this video was recorded on the 11th, when I got back from the Cenotaph, I was forced to do all of my editing on a laptop of much lower quality than my usual computer back in the States. While I expected the rendering would take a long time, I was not expecting 8+ hours! And then, when there was an error in the edit that I only noticed after an initial upload, I had to re-render and re-upload it all! Terribly sorry everyone, I should have planned better. But for what it is worth, here is my ‘Centenary Special.’
If you go back to even my earliest videos, you will notice that I am wearing a poppy. Even when I was discussing topics wholly unrelated to the First World War, or even if the video was in the middle of Summer, still I would be wearing it. Indeed, even outside of YouTube, I have worn the poppy every single day for the past four years to commemorate the Centenary of the Great War. And with yesterday's Cenotaph, 11/11/18, the war is now over. After four long and gruesome years, the guns have stopped firing. So where does that leave us now? In this video, I discuss what I have learned by commemorating every single day of the conflict.
