Here is the other vote winner this week. This is a typical early Gilman mix- the biggest challenge was the drums. There is very little snare in the mix and when I tried to rebalance in Izotope, it would pull in a bunch of non-drum instruments and sound awful. I was able to play with the separation feature in the app to get a little more snare without making it sound odd.
Last week's vote was kind of a fiasco- I accidentally started it a day after I announced it, and then people were emailing me and I didn't see them until today. Thankfully, we are now polling through Patreon, so no more chaos. I promise.
I never knew that Short Dogs Grow headlined this one. I wonder if there is tape of that set.
