The Episodes for practical Tajweed for each letter covers all the Arabic letters from a practical perspective. The focus is on how to pronounce the letters correctly in line with the rules of Tartil and Tajweed. Sheikh Fahim goes through each letter from a practical perspective, explaining Makhraj, where the letters and its sounds originates from, explaining Sifat, the qualities of letters, going through each letter explaining and practicing various important qualities like, sound, air/breath, full mouth (Tafkhim), empty mouth (Tarqiq), unique qualities of individual letters. As well as, highlighting common mistakes made by people in their recitation of the Quran.

At Beacon Institute, we apply a Practice-based teaching method - A complete ‘Practice-based’ method is used throughout all course levels. A strong emphasis is given to the practical implementation of Tajweed rules in actual recitation of the Quran.

Sheikh Fahimul Anam is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA). He has graduated with MA (In Teaching and Learning) a Bachelors degree in Business Studies and Marketing from London, and then went on to complete a Diploma in Arabic Language and subsequently a Bachelors degree in Usul-Ad-Din and Usul-al Fiqh in Arabic medium from the European Institute of Islamic Sciences in France. While studying Shariah he also completed an intensive Tajwid course on Ibn al-Jazari, a classical Tajwid text, and further pursued studying Tajwid extensively under a number of Tajwid scholars, in particular, Shaikh Saieed, who obtained Ijazah in 10 Qira'at from shaikh Ayman and Shaikh Abdul Mun'im, Shaikh Farid who obtained Ijazah in 10 Qira'at from Shaikh Ayman, Shaikh Mabruk and Shaikh Hassan, both also obtained Ijazah from Shaikh Ayman.

Sheikh Fahim had been teaching Tajwid, Aqidah, Fiqh, Usul-al Fiqh and other Islamic Sciences in the UK and abroad for last 2 decades. Sheikh Fahim is a Co-Founder and Director of Beacon Institute. As well as, a Co-Founder and the CEO of Gift of Knowledge. Sheikh Fahim is also a founding Trustee of The British Board of Scholars and Imams (BBSI).
