’Chinnanchiru Kiliye’- One of the most famous songs of the great patriot Mahakavi Bharathiyar. It is a part of Bharathiyar's 'kannama padal' series. This song is meant to be a lullaby from a mother/father to her/his daughter. I learnt this song when i was 9 yrs old from my Guru, never was an easy student but she is the most loving teacher. She always calls me her Swigaara puthri meaning adopted daughter . Being a girl child and being loved, i've always felt like the kannama in bharathiyar's poems . Singing this song always leaves me overwhelmed. I cherish being a kannama to my parents and my guru . :) The song is very very close to my heart and here i present it to u all. Really hope you guys like it :)
