PID remain underdiagnosed. It could pass months, even years between the first symptoms of a PID and its diagnosis, and those issues can genuinly jeopardize patients’ health. With their symptoms, patients are often referred to specialist physicians who are not always aware of PIDs and do not think that these symptoms may have a genetic background.
This is why IRIS produce two motion design videos presenting the clinical warning signs which can lead to PID diagnosis. These videos are an awareness tool for the general public and for medical specialists for whom PIDs are still too little known.
