I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World Season 2 & New TV Special – What You Need to Know!

Fans of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World can finally celebrate! After the first season concluded in July 2023, a new anime project was announced during the Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online event in October 2023. And now, after almost a year and a half of silence, major updates were revealed at Anime Japan 2025.

The project is officially confirmed as a TV Special, with the original staff from Season 1 returning to work on it. A new promotional video (PV) was also released, revisiting Yuya’s journey — from the moment he discovers a mysterious door to another world, to his transformation into a powerful and respected hero.

The TV Special sets the tone for what lies ahead, showing how Yuya evolved in a dangerous new world, earning the admiration of many through his strength and humility.

But that’s not all — according to a leak by Sugoi Lite posted on March 22, 2025, Season 2 of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is in production at Studio Millepensee! While no release date has been confirmed, the second season is likely to premiere sometime in late 2026, based on the studio’s current schedule and lack of official details so far.
