In this Dad Jobs DIY Adventure, I'll show you how I installed a new electrical outlet box behind where I was going to be mounting a TV and ran the electric to it by tying into an existing outlet lower on the wall. This way the power cord doesn't lay on the wall or need an exterior plastic channel installed to make it look pretty.
