In this video, I share 4 broccoli growing tips that have revolutionized the way I grow broccoli plants! Growing broccoli is challenging where I live because of wild temperature fluctuations which often causes broccoli bolting, but not anymore! These 4 tips will guarantee you perfect broccoli heads!

Broccoli is a member of the Brassica genus and the Mustard Family 'Brassicaceae.' They are very susceptible to temperature changes. Hard freezes can damage the broccoli florets, and prolonged warm temperatures, even moderate warmth, can cause bolting broccoli, which is when the broccoli heads become loose, tall, stringy, and flower and go to seed. These 4 broccoli tips can stop broccoli bolting and prevent cold damage. The end result is beautiful, perfect heads of broccoli!
