Taken from the 2010 concept album "Hadestown" by Anaïs Mitchell, which tells the story of Orpheus and Eurydice and was recorded because Mitchell was unsure about the future of the musical (original premier 2006)
The important difference to the musical is - ofc - the cast. The role of Orpheus is taken by Justin Vernont aka the Leadsinger of Bon Iver.
Later (2016) Mitchells Musical made it to Broadway and opened to critical acclaim and received numerous awards and nominations.

Both versions are worth buying and ofc the Musical is worth being seen , but ..well...Justin Vernon !^^
