In this video I take you through the latest progress on my 3D HeroQuest board, focusing on the cavern detailing around the perimeter and how the whole dungeon environment is starting to come together.
I also show how I’m beginning to populate the board with 3D printed props, including a look at some of the LED balloon lights and other illuminated elements that will bring the dungeon to life during games.
This is very much a world-building and atmosphere piece – less about rules, more about creating that classic 80s/90s dungeon crawler feel that made HeroQuest so special in the first place.
