On a wet fall day, Northern Pacific 924 has been hauling its train full of tourists and locals up and down the old line that belonged to its namesake former owner. In this video, the train has stopped at the historic Snoqualmie depot and is picking up its next set of passengers to head to the local falls. The train then slowly sets off with a bunch of happy and excited tourists.
This was filmed on the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad in Snoqualmie, Washington. The vintage steam locomotive seen here, Northern Pacific 924, is owned the Northwest Railway Museum and occasionally hauls excursion trains up and down the old Seattle & Lake Shore line from Snoqualmie Falls to North Bend.
Originally recorded on November 1st, 2025.
