After weeks of negotiating, we were finally granted rare, unrestricted permission to detect an untouched property in the back blocks of Mount Perry, Queensland — land that’s been locked up and fiercely guarded for over a century.

Armed with the Minelab GPX 6000, Minelab Manticore, and our Sur-Ron Light Bee X e-bikes, we set out to uncover what was hiding beneath this gold-rich ground.

We only had two days. One shot.
And on the second day… we hit it.
