China's Hidden Tea Village (Makes BEER TEA & BEER JELLY!)

I travel to a remote and secluded location in the countryside of China's Fujian Province, to track down a village that was once world famous but now lies hidden: Tanyang Village - the birthplace of one of the world's most legendary gongfu teas: Panyong Congou Tea.

This village once dominated the global tea trade, and yet many people outside of China have never heard of it. Surrounded by rolling hills and breathtaking scenery, this beautiful village holds a rich history and a proud tea-making tradition that has connected it to the far corners of the world.

And now, the village is using its tea-expertise to come up with brand new products that will hopefully bring the village back into the spotlight, my favourite of which is definitely BEER TEA!

YES! Beer tea! OMG! Somebody finally did it.
