[LIVE] Shiny 10% Smeargle and 15 Shiny Natu after a collective 143,550 REs in Pokémon Silver VC

Here it is folks! I present to you, my proudest ever shiny and favorite Pokémon of all time… The first ever, LIVE shiny Smeargle in gen 2!

I'm back guys! First off I wanted to apologize for the long hiatus. Aside from some personal things that have been going on in my life, I have been dedicating 100% of my time spent hunting on this hunt. And boy did it pay off.

I started this hunt back in late March of this year. And I can't believe it's already almost October! Going into this hunt I did not set my expectations high and was completely aware of my phase odds. Unfortunately, it may have gone a little worse than I expected. On average I should have found Smeargle after only 10 phases. But instead I went to 16!

Throughout the course of this hunt I could feel my sanity draining and my patience as a shiny hunter being tested. However the thought of finding a shiny Smeargle was enough to keep me going through all of it (and of course your guys continuous support!) And I think it's fair to say I won't be doing one of these again anytime in the near future, haha.

My advice to you if you plan to ever do a hunt like this is to keep yourself busy with other hunts. ESPECIALLY if there's only 1 other thing you can phase for in the area, lol. I can't speak on behalf of all shiny hunters, but what I'll say is that a shiny is only worth what you think it's worth. I've seen people go for some crazy rare stuff. But if it's something you don't really care about, I would not recommend doing it. Use that time on something that'll be worth your while.

This is one of my proudest ever shinies, and I'm so happy I get to share it with you all. And thank you guys so much for over 500 subscribers! I thought this would be a perfect hunt to celebrate such a milestone. And I've never been more happier or proud than now to be a shiny hunter. Because of your guys continuous support I get the motivation to comeback and hunt as much as I possibly can. It's moments like this that make all those countless hours spent on random encounters and soft resets worth it.
