My first EVER Low-Tech Budget AQUASCAPE!

Thank you for watching my first upload… ever!

This tank was set up on October 24, 2018 and it is a low-budget, low-tech aquascape with no current CO2 or fertilizer. All the plants are from Tropica and were purchased at my LFS in Calgary, Alberta.
I have tried to do my diligent research for over a few months prior to entering this new hobby, and have already learned from several mistakes/experiences. The tank has not yet finished the nitrogen cycle, but once completed it will be stocked.

In regards to the change in the scape from placing the driftwood to the finished product, I accidently miscalculated just how waterlogged the wood was. Both pieces were pre-soaked for over a week, but I believe the larger piece may have been weighing the smaller one down during the soaking period (as they were no floating during the soaking period). Once I started to fill the tank, the small piece floated and I had to quickly re-scape several of the plants and change the positon of the wood so that the fossilized stone would hold it down. This meant that the wood is now more centered than I would like, but once the plants have grown in it will hopefully help offset the entire scape.

I have listed below all the equipment and plants I used. This is not exactly a how to aquascape, per se, but I did follow the pattern and instructions from others.
