Welcome back to Episode 2 of our Daihatsu Hijet KEI Truck Camper Build Series! In today’s video, Steve and I tackle a huge step in transforming this tiny Japanese KEI truck into a fully functional micro overland camper. We finish installing the interior 1/4" plywood walls, add 1 1/2" exterior foam insulation, and get very close to running out of materials — forcing us to get creative with small leftover pieces to complete the job!
We also talk about what's coming next: our brand-new windows and door have officially arrived, and we’ve got a special surprise delivery waiting to be revealed in the next episode. Trust me… you’re not going to want to miss what’s coming as we get closer to the finish line on this build.
