Caregiver Webinar Series, January 2024: The SHINE Program and Medicare
Co-hosted by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs and Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, the two-part series in January and March 2024 focuses on health insurance counseling for family caregivers.
In this January 2024 webinar, Kathleen Gouveia of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs shares information about 1) the SHINE Program (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) that provides free health insurance information, counseling, and assistance to all Massachusetts residents with Medicare, and 2) Medicare eligibility, costs, and penalties.
The second webinar in this two-part series on March 28, 2024 will focus on programs that may assist families with Medicare costs, including federal, state, and other programs for which Medicare beneficiaries may be eligible.
